Wythenshawe Park Courtyard Tea Room

The Courtyard sells hot & cold beverages, breakfasts, snacks, sandwiches, panninis, ice-cream and various homemade cakes.  We also offer a wide range of events such as Afternoon Tea, Baby showers, Bridal showers, Christening, Children parties etc.   If you require more information or want to book an event please message us on our Facebook page.

Wythenshawe Park Adventure Clubs 

Meet Richard from Nacro for Adventure Activities for all ages. Meet at Wythenshawe Park Horticultural centre.

Senior Adventure Club every Saturday 10am – 6pm - Ages 13-19 years of age.

Junior Adventure Club every Wednesday 5.30pm – 8.30pm 8–12 years of age.

Wythenshawe Park Glasshouse Volunteers 

Meet in the Horticultural Centre Glasshouses, restoring and developing the planting and cacti, including the various model displays.

Meet daily - all welcome to join! Monday to Friday 10am-4pm.


Manchester Baseball Club - Wythenshawe Park 

Outdoor training will run weekly from April to September at the Baseball field, 

Adults sessions 18:30 Thursdays

Youth sessions 18:30 Tuesdays

League Games expected to run on Sunday, youth games possibly Saturday (to be confirmed)


Second Chance Cycle Club 

Second Chance are a cycling club established to promote fun and health through social cycling. Runs are typically 10 miles, with a break for tea or coffee and a cake at a stopover point. Generally members bring their own bike, although some are available to be borrowed.

Less experienced members can practice on the Track in the park.

Meet at the Athletics Track in the park, Tuesday and Thursday at 10am. Cost is £2 per week.

Real Food Wythenshawe - The Green Doctor 

Wednesdays 1 to 4pm, Thursdays 11 to 4pm Drop in session

  • Food growing – support food growing in the horticultural centre and prepare for planting in the walled garden. Year round growing using newly refurbished heated beds
  • Horticultural activities – seasonal preparation, year round training and practical experience.
  • Growing advice and guidance. Drop by for advice about plant health, what to grow where, and how to get the best out of your plants.
  • Real Food sessions provide gentle exercise. This can include walking, relaxation techniques and gentle yoga.
  • Occasional craft activities – wreath making, plant supports, Art with nature

Real Food Wythenshawe - The Pineapple Cooperative

Do you fancy trying out a small allotment plot to grow your own food? The Pineapple Cooperative is a perfect way to try your hand at food growing. There will be frequent access to advice and tools to get you started!  

The Pineapple Cooperative is in the walled garden at the back of Wythenshawe Community Farm. Contact Kay Bamford 07580 869 747 to arrange to take a food growing ‘taster allotment’


Hall Lane Horticultural Project

The Project is based in Wythenshawe Park, in the Horticultural Centre, and is a service for adults with an assessed need to attend and work on a horticulturally based therapy project,  Adults with these needs should be referred by their Social Worker/Care Manager, who would get in touch with Hall Lane Community Hub, Hall Lane, Baguley, Phone:- 0161-219-2605. The group meet in Portakabin 3 in the Horticulture Centre in the Park, from 9.00am to 3.30pm weekdays.

Wythenshawe Weightlifting Club meet  next to the athletics track. Training sessions  are Mon, Weds, Fri, 5-30 - 7-30pm for fitness and weightlifting.
