Wythenshawe Parks Watch Association was formed in 1994 to be the eyes and ears around the park. In 2018 this was relaunched as the Friends of Wythenshawe Park.
This is a group of local people who are regular users of the park, who care about the green spaces and want to see them remain and be looked after, just as Lord Simon intended when he left the Hall and 250 acres of land to the city and people of Manchester, for everyone’s use in 1926.
The Friends of Wythenshawe Park have been involved in:
The Friends meet on the third Tuesday of every month in the Horticultural Centre Portakabins.
If you are interested in joining the Park Friends come along to a meeting,
